CHRONIQUES continuously receives texts for its sections, and published them as soon as they are accepted by the editorial committee.

Process

The evaluation process is simple: upon receiving the contribution, a first rapid assessment (called “first reading”) determine if the text seems appropriate for the journal and selected section. Authors are informed within about 2 weeks.
Subsequently, one of the editors takes charge of the text to make a more detailed review. Major or minor revisions can be submitted to authors until a final acceptance of the text. The editors are working together with the authors, in order to improve the scientific content of the text and, above all, make it appropriate and relevant for the journal.

The submissions must meet the following criteria:

• ARTICLES: Research article including references to other scholarly work, a discussion, etc.
• REFLECTIONS: Typically shorter texts of various format or nature, but still in relation with the orientation of the journal. Students’ writings are particularly welcomed in this section.
• REACTIONS: Response or commentary to texts published in the other sections. Reactions are welcomed at any time.

There is no maximum or minimum length for texts. Pictures, diagrams and even videos, etc., can be included provided the necessary authorizations are granted (responsibility of the authors).

The references follow the APA model, and texts are submitted in the « .doc » or « .docx » format using our template : template.doc.

The final formatting will be done by the journal.
