Orientations

CHRONIQUES is a bilingual (English / French) journal interested in all ideas related to epistemological questions around mathematical activity, whether in the school context (education, learning), at the professional level (various professions, including that of mathematician), in the daily or the artistic settings… and more. The journal publishes articles in three categories:

  • Scholarly research ARTICLES
  • More open POSITIONS texts of various format or nature in relation with the journal orientation (students’ writing are particularly welcomed in this section)
  • REACTIONS pieces commenting or responding to texts in the other sections. Reactions are welcomed at any time.

Contrary to most other journals, CHRONIQUES continuously published texts as soon as they are accepted by the editorial committee.

CHRONIQUES is a free open access journal: Simply complete the subscription form to receive an access code via email. The subscription also allows readers to be informed of our new publications on a regular basis (choice of 2, 3, or 4 times per year).
