Going beyond validity criteria in mathematics education research: towards the generativity of a research study

This short article is not a critique of Barallobres (2015) article, but is mainly aimed at a continuation on the ideas, as a complement, as adjacent piece, to issues of validity criteria of scientific research in mathematics education research. It is inspired from my previous work on similar issues that have appeared in my PhD research (Proulx, 2007) as well as in Proulx (2010) and Hardy, Maheux and Proulx (2014).
